AppleFanSite has obtained pictures of what appear to be the new metallic sensor ring on the iPhone 5S that will be part of the built in fingerprint scanner on the home button.
The fingerprint scanner has been talked about greatly in the last few weeks with Patent Designs leaked earlier today and pictures of internal components showing up last week.
The iPhone 5S could have a built in fingerprint scanner
New pictures posted on Facebook appear to show the metallic ring that may be supporting the home button and will give the iPhone 5S a bejeweled look.
There are still uncertainties as to whether the new iPhone will even feature a fingerprint scanner, or whether it will be called the iPhone 5 or iPhone 6, but all rumors point to an iPhone 5S with built in fingerprint scanner.

The much talked about iPhone 5C is expected to debut at the event, as well as a release date for iOS 7 and its brand new look for the new hardware coming on September 10th.
The 5C is expected to come in multiple colors after Apples invite featured multi-colored spots on a white background.
