With the release of iOS 6.1 today, all attention has suddenly turned to the jailbreaking community. There have been some interesting things flying about today with regards to the actual release of a iOS 6.1 Jailbreak
@MuscleNerd who is described on twitter as an iPhone Hacker with 386,550 followers (as of writing) was quoted as saying “Hey, did everyone know the Superbowl is this Sunday? What will you be doing?” The tweet was also CC’d to the team of hackers who are expected to release the Jailbreak @evad3rs who currently have 42,622 followers on twitter.
There have also been rumors that iOS 6.1 has bought in a patch that could delay the anticipated jailbreak for some time, although these rumours are not true and @MuscleNerd minutes ago has just confirmed it is safe to update to iOS 6.1 but do not do it over the air (OTA) but do it via iTunes.
The Jailbreak is Untethered which means you can safely power of your phone and not lose your Jailbreak or any settings the Jailbreak expected to be released on Sunday is set to work on all of the following devices:

- iPhone 4
- iPad 2
- iPod touch 4th generation
- iPhone 4S

- iPhone 5
- iPad mini
- iPad 4
